- NO SCHOOL tomorrow and Monday in observation of Good Friday and Easter!
MATH
We are continuing reading and creating pictographs, and taking our test by the end of the week.
READING
This week we learned about perseverance through the text Salt in His Shoes, a biography about Michael Jordan. We discussed cause and effect. Next week we will be having an emphasis on Earth Day and caring for our earth in our texts, and will be working on the skill of summarizing.
WRITING
We are continuing to work through our nonfiction reports and most students are publishing! I'm so impressed with the research they've come up with so far and I know they're excited to share. We hope to see you at our celebration!
SCIENCE
We have been talking a bit about natural resources this week and will continue to leading up to Earth Day! We've discussed how we can conserve them in our daily lives as second graders.
