We've been digging into pictographs and learning about how to collect and present data using them.
READING
Our mentor text next week will be Sharks by Anne Schreiber. We're going to be identifying analyzing text features and comparing and contrasting nonfiction texts.
WRITING
We've starting writing fiction stories! Our stories are called "How I Became a Pirate", and students are learning how to develop characters and setting and incorporate problem and solutions. Students have created story boards to layout their story and have begun drafting.
SCIENCE
Our caterpillars have turned into chrysalis this week! We're observing them in their pupa stage.
