We're jumping into multiplication readiness next week! We'll be working on learning how multiplication is simply making equal groups and using repeated addition.
READING
We are reviewing text features next week! This is a great skill to practice at home when reading nonfiction texts, magazines, newspapers, articles, posters, and more. See if you can help your child spot photographs, captions, headings, subheadings, bolded words, diagrams, and more.
WRITING
We're working on our opinion and persuasive unit! Students have chosen their topics and will begin drafting next week.
SCIENCE
Students have started a new Science investigation! They'll be focused on pebbles, sand, and silt and have the opportunity to be learning from Mrs. Cusack over the next few weeks for science!
