We're working through measurement in inches and feet. This week we've practiced estimating and measuring to the nearest inch and nearest foot! This is an excellent skill to practice at home.
READING
Our mentor texts this week will focus on biographies of Martin Luther King, Jr. We'll be continuing to learn how to locate facts in a nonfiction text as well as learn about timelines and dates in literature.
WRITING
We are working on biographies and next week students will work through the writing process on a biography about MLK Jr.

SCIENCE/SOCIAL STUDIES
We're still working through our Science investigation of Pebbles, Sand, and Silt. This week we talked about how sand is created and broken down.
